Best of Zurich Tour with Felsenegg Cable Car and Ferry Ride

1.Best of Zurich Tour with Felsenegg Cable Car and Ferry Ride

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 1,229 reviews · 4 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $86Our pick

Start in central Zurich at 1pm for a guided city tour by air-conditioned coach, a walk through Old Town, a ferry ride from Meilen to Horgen, and the cable car to Felsenegg. Guides such as Marianne, Lars, and Sofia have been praised for clear commentary and practical tips. The tour ends back at Sihlquai Bus Station around 5:30pm.

“The tour was nice and gives you just enough time to enjoy each stop. The only thing I would change would be to give the option to be dropped off at Old Town or the Bus Terminal - especially since it would be easy to let people off at Old Town as the bus does the final drive through Old Town.”

Expect a brisk, varied day with hills, cobblestones, forest paths, and wide views toward the lake and Alps. Lunch is not included.

“This tour is exactly as advertised! The city tour took two hours, we broke for 30 minutes for lunch, then walked to the dock for the ferry - we sailed for 45 minutes - then took a bus to the gondola ride. We stayed at the top for about 40 minutes and then took a train back to Zurich for an in time finish. We took a tram and a funicular too! Some parts of the walk are steeply inclined, and I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with mobility restrictions. Our tour with Greg was mostly older people and no one had any trouble with it. Greg was very engaging…”

“Stunning views from the top! Easy entry due to electronic tickets, we were able to skip the line since we already had tickets. Suggestions would be to list directions to the tour in the description. I had to call the tour provider and was told where the tour was. If it’s your first time in Switzerland, you may need some direction. But overall, great experience and well worth it!”

Fernando provided great insight into the region during our drive to Grindelwald and was highly supportive. The weather played its part and gave us moments of absolute clarity for some of the most spectacular views. We enjoyed every moment of the tour and highly recommend it to other travellers.”

Suggest checking out the weather and canceling before 24 hours of the tour, unless you are ok with not seeing much. We actually had a blast! A hike in the rain, the eeriness of the clouds we were in and warm tea afterwards.”
